Photoshoots in summer can be hard. The sun is too bright for too much of the day, everyone’s hot and sticky, and the bugs can be unpredictable.
But sometimes, it all works out anyway.
In July, I photographed the Adams-Behmer family. Their coral-and-khaki color scheme featured pineapples – an inside joke between mom and dad, and the littlest of the bunch kept the whole family laughing for the shoot.
As the photographer, I also had the privilege of being in on a behind-the-scenes secret.
It was indeed a perfect shoot, sunshine, bugs, and all.
