We are in the process of selling our house (I think). I have said that so many times over the last few years that I barely dare to whisper the words aloud. For some reason, though, typing them – writing them – is therapeutic.
I say this because there will probably be a brief hiatus here on the Inkwells & Images blog as I sort through legal documents and pack boxes and paint my basement.
And attend my first writer’s conference.
Oh – and go on two – TWO! – work trips for the day job in the month of April. Eight plane rides and counting …
And photograph my brand-new nephew who came home from the hospital on Monday.
Yikes.
On the bright side, warm weather just has to arrive soon, right? RIGHT?!?
So: a temporary hiatus is order, and I thought I would warn all two of my regular readers, 50% of which live in the house that is currently being sold.
I’ll try to keep writing, but there are no guarantees that I am going to be able to formulate coherent sentences outside of normal business hours for the next few weeks.
Or maybe I will because I will need to escape from all the crazy and hide out in my office which is finally complete now that we are going to move (of course).
I’ll be back once all the paperwork is filed and the sale is official and I can breathe again. I promise to tell the whole story of selling our home someday, too, as soon as I can do it justice.
And as soon as I am on the other side of the fence, and not still on the side labeled “limbo.”
And to make this post worth reading, here is a picture of my cat Zipper, who has obviously never known a day of stress in her life:
